Engineering oversees safe and reliable design systems for the City and its customers. The Engineering Division manages the City's water distribution, construction design and oversight, and development permits from a central location.

The engineering office is located in the first floor lobby of the Public Services Administration Building, 17050 N.E. 19th Avenue, along with the City's Building Department. Anyone bringing a set of plans for property improvements within the City can submit paperwork and aquire the nessesary permits and liscences at this location. The Division works closely with the Building Department to review proposed improvements.
