The Neighborhood Task Force is a proactive improvement program created by the Public Services Department. The Task Force spends one week in each neighborhood doing a thorough clean up and maintenance of City property and rights-of-way. This program addresses everything from filling potholes and repairing sidewalks to restoring signs and replacing trees.

The Task Force consists of employees from each division of the department. About a week before Task Force enters your neighborhood, staff will survey the City properties and right-of-ways and prepares a "to-do" list. If there are items that cannot be completed during Task Force Week, they are referred to the appropriate City divisions and added to their project schedules.
